ALBATROS D.V - EDUARD 1/72
« on: June 15, 2012, 10:07:36 PM »
Hello friends, this is the Albatros DVa from Eduard in 1/72 scale.
Out of the box, automotive painting, wethering done with
oil paints to canvas diluted with turpentine.
Fuselage decal made in inkjet printer.
Rigging made with surgical thread 6.0.
The engine is very poorly done.
This is probably my last job in 1/72 scale ...  :-\
From now on, only the Wingnut Wings 1/32 scale...  ;D ;D ;D
Hope you enjoy.
And thank you in advance your comments.

Incredible, Afonso!  The masking is sharp and crisp.  Something that is extremely difficult in 1/48 scale and next to impossible in 1/72 scale.  Fantastic work all around.
Cheers,
Bud

   Alfonso,
Wow another outstanding project my friend. Beautifully painted and decaled too. A special tip of the hat for this little gem in 1/72 scale.

Wonderful model.

My constant fails with 1/72 Albatros is what made me step up to 1/48. (Thrown 3 away now, just started a 1/48 Revell boxing of the Eduard D.V   If it comes out half as good as your 1/72 I'll be a happy bunny.)
Regards, Ken
