MORANE SAULNIER L - EDUARD 1/48
« on: June 15, 2012, 10:48:42 AM »
Hello friends, this is my second project for the fighters of the World War I.
Again, due to the lack of my experience I did not photographed step by step assembly.  :-\
This is the Morane Saulnier L from Eduard in 1/48 scale.
Automotive paint with airbrush. Wethering done with oil paints onto canvas, diluted with turpentine.
I hope you enjoy.  :)

Thank you in advance for comments.
 ;)

Not only is this one of the few of this kit I have seen finished, it is the finest work on this kit I have seen. Beautiful!

You have done an excellent job with this model, the rigging is superb and your weathering is spot on, for only your second WW1 model aircraft you certainly have a gift.

She's truly stunning, Afonso.  Your weathering is superb.  A winner in every respect.

  Alfonso,
Now that's a kit I've rarely seen build up. Another outstanding beauty my friend. As Bud said your weathering is superb to which I'd add as near perfect as you can get. I hope sometime you'll write up a tutorial on your weathering techniques for the forum. I know everyone would greatly appreciate learning your techniques.

Hello friends, thank you for your comments. In fact this is the second project within the theme of WW I. I started building fighters of WW II in the 90's. Some years ago I was charmed by the planes of WW I. So I sold my entire collection WW II assembled and started a new collection. My recent work were made by photographing the entire step-by-step. I'm preparing the files and hope to soon share with you.  :)

I have had the pleasure of seeing Giordano´s work live.  ;)

They are even better than in the photographs.

Giordano: why don´t you show us your Wnw Albatros with the hand painted flower?  ;D ;D ;D ;D That´s my favourite.
