LVG build by Wojtek

Many years ago I had the pleasure to follow the build done by Wojtek_fajga of his Wingnuts LVG. I was cruising the net last night and came across some of his build photos which I would like to share with you, it is amazing work.
From memory, all the PE items were made by Wojtek, these first images show the remarkable engine work he carried out. Many modelers asked Wojtek if he would market the PE set, I don't think he ever did.
As usual, click any picture for a larger image.

Wojtek did some great work with his wood graining technique.

Wojtek also made his own PE for improvements to the wing radiator.

Wojtek made his own PE wing rigging mounting btackets, he fixed these to the wing by using heat from a soldering iron to partially melt the PE into the wing.

I remember this build and I think I also asked if he would market the PE. Amazing clean work.

I all so love watching his builds , used his photo`s as a guide for my LVG . I was lucky enough to get some parts and decals from Mietek (miecio52) who got the parts from Wojtek. I just didn't have time to do anything on my model for a long time . This might get me back to modeling again .Thanks Des!

To finish off Wojtek made his own instruments.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at these photos.

Yep - amazing detail and skill - unforgettable build. I have some of his brass etch in my stash - not sure I will ever have skill enough to use it but intent to try at some point....

Thanks for posting this, Des. I remember this well. It was among my earliest inspirations (along with your Biff build) when I first came back to modeling. I saved his entire build log and if it's okay, I can add the link.
Cheers,
Bud
