I'm really impressed!   Love the translucent wings, wood tones and metal cowling look.  Superb workmanship all round, bravo mate.

I know that the wings are solid plastic.  I know that it is paint.  And yet, I know I would still be surprised to not see the shadow of my hand if I looked from beneath with my hand between the light source and the wing.  Amazing.

Congratulations Guy on presenting us with an absolute masterpiece. Every part of this model has attributes, the brilliant translucent wings are the best I have ever seen, the gorgeous wood tones on the fuselage and floats, the incredible metal finish and the superb detailing, an amazing model.

She's truly breathtaking, Guy!  Your decision to go au naturel was a brave one and it paid off in spades.  This is the most beautiful W.12 I have ever seen and your translucent effect so realistic.  Now I can't wait to see what you do with the Felixstowe!
Cheers,
Bud
