Greetings from France
« on: January 23, 2015, 07:05:26 AM »
Hello everybody,
An other Frenchman join us. I live in the mountains of Vercors in the south of France. I am half a century… and more old ::)
I like pioneers and ww1 aircrafts.
My last ww1 model Is a Caudron G2 in scratch 1/72 and just before a Be2C early in1/48 scale.
I hope to share with you my passion and learn good things. I Think I am going to spend an happy time here.
Cordialement
Alain

Welcome to the forum, Alain!  Good to have you aboard.  I look forward to seeing your work.  Can you post photos of your Caudron and BE?
Cheers,
Bud

Hello Alain and welcome to a very friendly, supportive and inspiring forum. Although I am British, I have lived in the Haute Vienne just south-west of Limoges for over ten years.

In the Be.2c, you've chosen one of my favourite aircraft.

Best wishes
Nigel

Bonjour Alain from the hills and hollers of southern Kentucky!  I think you'll enjoy your stay here as it's a friendly and knowledgeable group.  I admire anyone who can scratch-build, and it's nice to see another 1/72nd fan on board as well.

Oh, my!, Alain!  That is simply gorgeous!  I've an extra one of those in my stash and you've inspired me to do the conversion.  I just hope it turns out half as lovely as yours.
Cheers,
Bud
