SSW D IV conversation
« on: January 17, 2015, 04:09:10 AM »
It will be the plane from Vzfw Karl Bohenkamp Jasta 22.
I make parallel to my D III early an D IV conversation.
I use there for the Koster SSW D IV, the new Eduard SSW D III overtrees, Aviattic 5 colour Lozenge, and from Karaya SH III and LMG 08/15.
Most of parts are use from Eduard.

Hi Martin
I am sure this will be a great one to follow.
Alan.
I heard that it all started when a bloke called Archie Duke shot an ostrich 'cause he was hungry!

Another great project, Martin.  I didn't realize the Koster wings were resin.

Here I have now also started.
Covered the handles on the inside and glued the first parts in the body parts.
Seatback provided with several holes and mounted on the motor side openings extravagance.

Lower wings of the hull sawed off parts of Koster and Eduard kit and ground.
Next parts glued into the fuselage halves, floor, front bulkhead and belt box on the upper fuselage.
Then everything primed inside.

Here I have got on a little bit.
The left and right fuselage side is almost ready. In addition, the throttle control with linkage is right.
Also the cockpitfloor is almost ready. In the front wall the tank and rear engine holders with carburettor part is right.
The upper front body part are still absent the MG `s.
