Morane-Saulnier Type AI 1/48 Special Hobby

I have this notion of doing a few out of the box builds and something different . So I pulled this kit of the stash . Not a subject one really see's being built . There was a bit of hype when it was released and then it just seemed to fade off .

A while back I saw a profile of this aircraft in British markings painted PC 10 top side with light grey underside and if memory is right battleship grey cowl ? Now I wish I saved that site ...

This will be my first SP kit , haven't built one yet but for the most part folks give them good marks .

Me and Jacek both built this kit last year. It is an ill fitting brute and has some accuracy issues too.

Good luck with build, Terri. It's nice to see a relatively unusual model being tackled.

Like you, I'm looking to build something 'out of the box' soon, but I can't decide what.

Jean Navarre died on this kind of plane after the war , training to cross down the paris' arc of triumph in the great victory parade in  1919 to protest because air force was not allowed to fly in!!!
I will have to mount it,  so I will follow yours very closely
good luck, it doesn't seems a very easy model to mount...
