Nice. Another Roden completed proving it can be done!!

Steve
Thanks, Steve.  You know, I really enjoyed this build.  Roden kits aren't nearly as bad as everyone says they are.  Well, the decals, maybe, but the only problem I had with them was the left rudder flash split in half while trying to position it.  Other than that, piece of cake.
Cheers,
Bud

Hello Bud,

She looks great and really promissing and is worth to be photographed with more light on please :D

D
She's a night fighter, Krzysiek.  She's supposed to be in the dark. ;)  I took these in natural lighting late in the day, so it wasn't as bright as it could have been.  I'll try and take a few more in better lighting.
Cheers,
Bud

Very nice model Bud; what rigging material(s) did you use?
Cheers,
Lance
Thank you, Lance.  I used 2 lb test monofilament fishing line, painted with black and silver Sharpies, and 0.5mm od/ 0.33mm id brass tubing.  For the control lines, I used smoke colored invisathread.
Cheers,
Bud

You've done a superb job on this aeroplane Bud. It's unfortunate that I missed the build log as I would've enjoyed following your progress from start to finish. Your rib shading is exceptionally well done and your rigging is top notch. You should be darned proud of this one!

Cheers,

Chris

Thank you, Chris, old buddy.  You know, I have this weird thing about posting a WIP in more than one place.  A build I do here, stays here.  A build I do there, stays there.  That said, you can still pop in and take a peek as a guest, can't you?

Lovely work Bud. Among other things I always enjoy checking out you touch with the shading. Excellent.

Bud,

I've been following your build of this, and thoroughly enjoying it.  It's great to see it finished, and what a beauty. Love the subtle shades on the wings.

Dammit, Chris!  Sorry.  I guess I could post some build pics here, if it's okay.

Thanks, Brad.  I kept refering to your Aeroclub BE12/Roden SE5a kitbash during the build.
