Spectacular.
A model thrives on its overall impression and not on that every little disagreement over the original is hyped up as a disaster

Thank's guy's

Weathering make with oil paints, four colours were used : white, Naples yellow, “Ombres brûlées” and black. They are applied with a brush, without dilution and as spread out as possible.
Oil paints suit perfectly because you can work on it with no rush, you can mix it and dose the level of opaqueness. Black is applied first on the least subjected to light areas, having naturally defined subjectively the position of the sun.

This is an important amount of work but it brings the model into « life ».

Hello to all,
I like your chromatic variations. How did you realise the ring on the engine ? Alclad brass ?

Very impressive Michel. Just the other day I was at the RAF Museum in London looking lovingly at the stripped-down F2b now tucked away in the corner of a display devoted to Great War aircraft. I can't wait to see how your work progresses.

Best wishes
Nigel

Michel, the model is gorgeous.  The staining on the nose area,
especially around the exhaust is perfect.  Excellent work!

Cheers,
Ernie :)
