WNW Felixstowes now available
« on: December 09, 2014, 07:29:06 AM »
Wingnuts have just uploaded the Felixstowes to their website as available next week- the price is $US 269. Taking pre orders with the kits available for shipping next week.

Bigger surprise, they are doing pre orders for a new Duellists double kit of a Felixstowe...and a Hansa Brandenburg W.29 - price is $US 349. Also available next week.

that build up of the late version is simply beautiful and thrilling to behold - I still hardly can believe this is a real release in 1/32nd scale....

Prices are more than I expected.

Converting to Aussie dollars the Felixstowes would cost $A 324 and the Duellist set would cost $A 420.

It will be interesting to see how much Felixstowe enthusiasm is converted to actual sales now we know the price.

Not for me.
I hope they see fit to bring out a new boxing of the W.29. Only then will my interest be sparked!

I am wondering if it is the "free" shipping that is a big impact on this end price? That box is huge and probably pretty heavy as well. I know shipping anything that size outta the USA to international destinations is brutally expensive unless you send it by surface (four to six weeks delivery)

It translates into a LOT of hobby time, or a profit on eBay...

It's an interesting development.  Love the period photos for this kit.

Wish I had shares in the UK customs service, they'll want, how much to land the little dualist box?

Make Otto your motto for lovely spoked wheels.
