Hell's Angels movie by Wingnut way...
« on: December 07, 2014, 02:07:17 AM »
Hello to all,
Perhaps, remember you my Pfalz D XII:

In fact, is was a diptych project. So, now i'm going to do this:
http://collections.oscars.org/images/dyer.jpg
I'm always wondering about Fe2b fighter or DH9. For instance, I start Fe2b but I can change.
A few pictures:
Little parts are ready for painting.

Scratch camera:

Be careful with the little crank on the fuselage, I broke and glued it three times.  >:(
Best regards.
Alain.

Very cool Alain!  I love the idea of modeling real aircraft that were used in movies. :D  Well done.  The Pfalz looks great!

Bob

Hello to all,
Thanks a lot for your kind words.  :D
Today, interior canvas, I choose a didactic way, it will be helpful.  ;)

Supplies I used (pens are watercolor pen):

Tanks:

Then, use old brush and water:

I also painted others parts, I'll show them when they'll be finished.

That camera looks like it would work! Amazing.

And how very apt that a WNW kit be used to build a movie plane. Now if we could find evidence of one that was used in the filming of Lord of the Rings the circle would be complete.

Hello to all,
Thanks a lot for your kind words.  :)
I work very slowly because a lot of work with my job.
I painted cockpit interior and engine. I don't weather it yet. It just for fun because, at the end, engine will be hidden by cowls.

I used acrylic and oil paints (especially for wood and leather).
Best regards.
