Michel, I first saw this beauty on the WNW site in the Customers' Models section and my first impression was the same as Jamie's:

That first photo could pass for the real thing. I really like your work.

Jamie

Truly Phenomenal Work, Michel.  So glad you've chosen to land here.
Cheers,
Bud

Excellent work, I really like how you paint.

Could I ask how you did the propeller.

Many thanks, Gary

Absolutely beautiful Albatros, Michel!  The wood sheathing and
propeller are stunning, Steven's wheels add so much to an already
wonderous model, and on top of that, your photography is amazing!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thank you  for your comments !

That wood is top class! Decals?

No decals, I used the photo-etched Radu Brizan.

Thanks Nigel

Some pic of the propeller

Th propeller  received H 318. Using masking tape to define the different colours. Then, burnt Umber oil paint is applied with a paintbrush.

Amazing work on the propeller painting, Michel!  My question is how did
you cut the masking tape so precisely?  Beautiful job!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

This is just------ WOW! A joy to look at!
A model thrives on its overall impression and not on that every little disagreement over the original is hyped up as a disaster

That is possibly/probably, the best looking painted plastic prop I have ever seen! Your masking is Astonishing. Would it be possible to see the back side also. I always struggle with how the pattern works on the opposite side!

Thanks for the step br step on the propeller. I thought that's how you did it, I can never get the tape to conform to the shapes as neatly as that.

Many thankS Gary
