Nieuport 24
« on: December 02, 2014, 08:26:21 PM »
Hello all! My third WW1 was the Nieuport 24 in 32nd from Roden. This is plane n°4408 flown by Serbian pilot Myodrag Tomych within French Escadrille n°523 in the Balkans. Not as easy as a WNW but a good model indeed! Cheer, Jean.

Best regards from France.

Extremely nice Jean. Everything is marvellous, the painting, rigging and the weathering. One for the gallery! Congratulations.

Kind regards

A very nice Nieuport, indeed. We are so spoiled by WNW but there are decent kits in 32nd scale beyond NZ ;)  And you proved, Jean, they can be put together to a very high standard. Thanks for sharing.

It is a festival of Nieuports and this one is a beauty. I had planned to build this same machine in 1/48 from the Karaya kit.

An extremely attractive model Jean, you have done a superb job with the construction and finishing of this Roden kit, you did a great job with the markings and the rigging.

Beautiful Noop!  What paint did you use for the silver metal parts and doped fabric?  It looks great. ;D

This is not a machine with which I am familiar, but your finish is excellent. The cowling really does look like metal and the overall finish is most striking.
