Des, can you put a block on people turning up and posting superb pictures of their modelling skills.

What we need is a few more ham fisted baboons.

 And another +10.

Absolutely stunning, especially the wood finish which is something I simply cannot begin to master. Very many congratulations.

PS - don't worry I can provide a ready supply of the ham-fsted baboon builds.

Many thanks Gents !!
Next one should be a Roland D.VIb (Emil Schape) with a set of Wing Cockpit figures.
Cheers

I suppose those guys who missed the LVG kit before it got sold out now will hate you. Well, I missed this kit too, but it was never on my list, so I do not hate you. I will just say, I like your model very much. The wood and fabric are top class. Thanks for sharing!

Truly spectacular LVG, Pierre!  One of the finest I've seen and I've seen some beauties.  Please, keep them coming.
Cheers,
Bud

Awesome build. Great LVG and those two figures are the cherry on the cream.
A model thrives on its overall impression and not on that every little disagreement over the original is hyped up as a disaster

Great work on the LVG and the figures.  Those figures really bring the kit to life!

A really great build in terms of the a/c and the figures. I'd love to know how you made those decals for the interior.

Hi Warren
It was an experiment for me. First of all, I had to find plywood representation. It was done here:
http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41043
After it's the same process than for usual decals, ie print the plywood on a laser paper sheet and apply liquid decal film solution from microscale.
To be honest it's worth if you have large/numerous surfaces to cover. Otherwise it's costless (in time and money) to buy a sheet from Uschi.
Cheers
Pierre
