If TVAL's flying day had gone ahead tomorrow I would have taken some photos to share with you. Until next time this will have to do.

I think this (DH.4) will be the real christmas (2014) surprise.

We can only hope, but I'll take in in 2015 or 2016, or whenever.  ;D. Greatlooking aeroplane with lots of interesting markings.

Bob

This was my favorite Entente' two-seater when I was a kid thanks to a particular issue of Enemy Ace magazine. I still like it. I like it that us Yanks got a little coverage too.  ;) 8)
Wasn't this the same squadron that took part in that nasty "Lost Battalion" business in the Autumn of 1918?

Thanks for posting!

Glad to see another Enemy Ace fan Warren!  It was such an influence when I was a kid.  I got the compete DC hardbound collections a few years ago.  Great stuff!

Back to the DH.4.  Now that TVAL has one flying, it's only a matter of time before WNW provides one for us.  Lot's to until then.  ;)

Cheers,

Bob

Hey Bob, ya gotta love "The Hangman" and that black SPAD, right?

Did you ever get any of the comics that followed him into WWII?

Unfortunately the DH.4's engine is still having issues so it wasn't on show this weekend, however I'm hopeful we'll see it sometime over the coming year.

Just to let everyone know that at least one Kiwi is on its trail! I can't wait to see it.
