Hola a tod@s!

I am 46, Spanish, currently living in Cologne, Germany, and have been modelling on and off (mainly off) for some 35 years now, mostly "creeping" things, although I have always been fascinated by these wonderful early mono, bi, tri, quadra, "you name it" planes and the dashing, reckless people who developed and flew them.

I have been following this forum for almost a year and could not stand it anymore not to "go live". I just had to, mainly because I must congratulate every single modeller in this forum, the work shown here is amazing, to say the least. Thank you for sharing it. I would also like to thank Des for running it the way he does, it really is a friendly, pleasant place to be.

So I have been gradually changing to the "bright side" and have already started my first ever: an Albatros D.V in 1/48...  ;)

Welcome to this wonderful forum. You know I think not only the people who developed and flew them were dashing and reckless, but also  the modelers who try to build them now!  :D

@nigel, it is a Revell/Eduard 1:48 with the markings of Kissenberth, Jasta 16b, June 1917

I should be showing the progress of the model very soon...  8)
