I like that blue Adam, which brand of paint and what color is it?

Good job so far!  I was thinking of trying to make some masks for roundels, but in 1/72nd, I wonder if I might be better off painting decal paper and cutting them out.  Thoughts?

Warren

Alan, beautiful work so far!
I love the blue tone as well, I think the center blue disc on French cockades decals is often too light, yours appears a good shade...

Excellent progress despite your masking issues. I am sure you will get the roundels fixed. The camo and blue outline look great!

Fine modelling, Adam.
As for the masked cockades, surely, practice makes master. But still, one needs an extremely steady hand in cutting nice round circles. Something I always find challenging. I wish you good luck with yours!

Thank you for your support my friends, with my new painting technique by using masks made by myself.

WarrenD I'm using Lifecolor paints this blue is Matt Light Blue,

Przemol, I'm on the beginning on the road of masking technique this is my second model, first was Fokker Dr.I. There I used original Montex mask for crosses, and I MADE MY SELF   ;D masks for white-black checkers.

Tonight I painted cockades.  ;D . I'm pleased with my painting, but it will require a little retouching.
If I will find the time in this Eastern time  I will put in here some pictures.

Adam.

Sorry for such a long break.
Lately I've been very busy professionals and families.
I had only as short periods of time to build my model.
From time to time I made only a few pictures of my struggles.
My painting by masks.

My preparing for shading.

And here is the result.

With great difficulty I was able to put the decals with the stork. But the rest I painted using masks made by me.

And here is the result of my painting.

Next step the machine gun.

A few photos of the finished model.
I need more time to make the gallery, but this will be in October when I come back from vacation.
