Gotha G.V AZ Models 1/48
« on: November 05, 2014, 04:17:12 AM »
Hello!
I`ve finally finished her. It wasn`t neither easy nor short built but... The guns are Karaya`s Parabellums and the bombs are from the Mirage bomb sets. Lozenges are Aviattic magnificent decals. Many many thanks to Ray Rimmel for his help with the scheme and also to Richard from Aviattic.
All of the stuff I have scratch built might be seen in under construction thread. The props are hand -carved. More pics of better quality to come later.
Under construction thread: http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=3320.0

Engines:
louvers

bomb racks
oxygen containers

And some more B&W pics if you don`t mind... - the pic with Fokker E.V is just to show its size - didn`t have any more suitable model.

A gorgeous looking Gotha Filip, you have done a superb job with the building and finishing of this model, the rigging is amazing and the hand made propellers are excellent, congratulations on completing this awesome model.

What can I add? This is a truly wonderful model - I too like the propellors which look real. In all a mini-masterpiece.

This one is really beautiful - although the troubles you had while building managed to scare me away from that kit.

I like it very much, it looks very convincing. And the level of details you added is most imressive - my favourite is the oxygen container.

What a great model!  Fantastic work!

I agree, Filip!  I've got the Hippo version in my stash and have been waiting for suitable decals.  I just hope mine turns out half as nice as yours.
Cheers,
