Bristol Scout being built in UK
« on: October 30, 2014, 07:29:22 PM »
A nice BBC clip about the building of a Bristol Scout (looks like a "D") being built in the UK by the pilot's grandsons and a pal. Has a Le Rhone rebuilt by TVAL by the looks of it. They won't say how much it has cost - just that it's "Too Much"! Always a favourite and a real must for 1/32nd scale sometime....

Just hope it flies OK and they don't prang it!

Edit:
It's a "C" and looks as if the Le Rhone is one of the new build ones, more here:

Thanks James for the link, it looks to be very well built and the refurbished engine should give many hours of trouble free operation, it will be great to see this one flying.
