Hello from Portland, Oregon USA
« on: October 18, 2014, 07:34:21 PM »
Hello I'm Paul.

testing to see if I know how to post a picture.  If this works you will see my oldest surviving model, an Airfix SPAD VII that I built sometime in the late seventies.  I think you will like my solution for the poor fitting cabana struts.

Hello Paul and welcome to the forum, so nice to see you here. I like your solution for the cabane struts and the propeller looks like it has seen better days as well. It appears you have had no problems posting pictures so I hope to see more of your work soon.

Hello Paul and welcome. For a model that's survived over forty years I'd say your SPAD has shown some character. Anything remotely that old that I had didn't really survive the gentle skills of the removal firm when we crossed the Channel to live in France.

Best wishes
Nigel
