Your SE5a looks spectacular, Flip. But more photos would be very much welcome!

thx for the nice comments Gentlemen :-)
Really enjoyed building this one.  Didn't have time to put up the extra pictures yet, but have planned to do so coming weekend. Stayed tuned :-)

May I ask about the rigging....did you use any after market supplies or are they all of your own making? I'm about to do my first serious rigging job and am polling the crowd.

I have used Bob's Buckles eyelets and brass tubes. Top notch stuff & excellent service from Bob! Highly recommended! :-)

Beautiful SE5a.  I agree, please post more pics.  I love the pilot and friend vignette.

Good to see you back, Flip.  The SE5 is a masterful job and
it's little vignette is very appealing.  Really nicely done!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Flip, how do you achieve the depth of surface in your paint and weathering?  Do you use oil washes, airbrushing or drybrushing, or some combination?  The results are museum quality.  Simply beautiful!;D

Cheers,

Bob

As others have said, just beautiful Flip. I too would like to know more about your painting/weathering method and more photos would be nice too.

Boy, I can't do much but join the chorus... that is a joy to behold.  The build and finish are superb, and the setting and figures really take it to another level.
