Hello I like very much this topic for many reasons:
1) I like the way you work
2) I'm a 1/48 defender behind the 1/32 wnw tsunami ( 1/32 modelers, I'm joking ;))
3) I like very much your thematic of a pilot's planes. I used the same way with Jean Navarre french pilot.
4) I  like albatros planes

so keep going on, I'm fan!

one thing. I'm not a german aeroplane specialist. As I say before I like albatross plane and I'm loocking for decorations.
Rhe jasta V planes have sometime wooden fuselage and most of time light grey fuselage.
Doyou think this light grey was in reality silver colout?
in other world, is there any relation between those light grey fuselage and your udet's pnale silver fuselage  ?

Thanks, everyone!
Xan, just about all the Albatros D.IIIs, D.Vs, and D.Vas came from the factories with varnished natural wood fuselages.  However, a few came from the factory with this silver gray finish.  There are photos of one or two others besides Udet's.  This is probably the same finish applied to most Pfalz machines. The grey on Jasta V machines was most likely a more regular grey applied in the field, not nearly as shiny.

Moving along, I finally got the wind generator scratched for the D.Va.

Either of those on its own would make for a job well done, but as a set, they are even better!

Round three is looking great! This is perhaps my favorite of the schemes as I really like the WOOD fuselage on Albatros Fighters! The black and white striped tail adds just enough flare for the scheme to look awesome!

Thanks, Rick.  I'm with you; this is my favorite of Udet's Albatros machines.
