Scott!  You made my day, man!  So glad to finally see some of your work.  These are all truly brilliant models, buddy.  They're all fantastic, but I think I like the Dr.I the best.  Your streaking is superb.  Thank you for posting them.  Were these taken on your phone camera?  Pretty good shots.
Cheers,
Bud

yea i took them with my phone camera 1/2 hr ago. they are really disappointing to me. because you cant see any of the subtleties they make them look good in person. like i wanted to show off my fokker e.ii cowl swirls but you cant see it or the rib shading/highlighting on that one and the morane as well as the chipped paint on the cowl and the toms brass morane logos on the cowl. it is a glimpse but not the full effect. thanks though.thats the fokker dr.1 that i posted a while back when it was in pieces .

They look really good to me! The Morane is my favorite with that chipping on the black fuselage. Did you paint the chipping on after the black or did you scrape the black away to reveal a silver undercoat?

@ bartekk the colors on the albatros d.ii camo were model master enamel burnt sienna, french khaki and the light green i mixed from other colors it is about 4 years ago so i dont remember exactly what i mixed.

@ petrov i achieved the chipping from painting the cowl humbrol metal cote polished steel then i used a torn bit of sponge to apply some micro masking fluid when dry i used humbrol satin black and i took a piece of masking tape wrapped around my finger and touched it and pulled off the mask to reveal the metal under neath so the paint is actually chipped. i'm sorry the photos are too blurry to see this effect good.

for any interested the base was a plastic lid to a small bucket. i sprayed it black and added 3 types of grass and 2 types of dirt. i used it for my base for the morane in the ipms contest in march.

thanx all for looking.

  Scott,
Man that's a great collection my old friend, each one is beautiful. The Phonix D.I is a real eye catcher, love that paint scheme. How did you apply the brown? Not to forget the Morane Type N the paint on the cowl and chips are awesome.
Highest Regards,
