And next little step forward. Tappets ready! Those small things took me two weeks! But it's really small... Thanks to my friend Simon each, even the smallest thing in the Bentley, is measured.

Real thing:

And my ones:

All the best, Lukasz

I know, I promised to prepare magneto and switchers, but I couldn't....
I was going also to do fuel control unit for Albatros - forgive me Justin - I couldn't stop from finishing thrust box for Bentley. It was real challenge - those bolts has diameter only 0.28mm - it was the smallest bolt, I've ever prepared. But it's ready, and was quite pleasure to do.

Please do not look at painting - I tested tensochromes... it not works correctly, I'll stay with citadel washes :/

And what is ready so far:

So far 154 parts, and next 121 in preparing. Final engine will have in the simplest version 275 parts (at least). Assembling of this can be real challenge....

Now I'm starting magnetos :)

This Bentley engine is insane! How is it possible to do such small and intricate work? I'm so glad you are willing to take on these challenges.

Thanks,
George

Hi Lukasz
I was thinking of you yesterday when I was visiting The Vintage Aviator Ltd for their last flying weekend of the season. TVAL are producing new build BR2 rotary engines and this one is virtually brand new, fitted to their latest Snipe E7643. Your workmanship is extraordinary and I am posting these photos to show (and celebrate) the accuracy you have achieved.

Cheers
James
