Thanks Fellas :D
Pete I used Tamiya Copper XF6 but I add tints of blacks to darken and silver to lighten. I also try to vary colors between each individual part.
Ian I tend to agree with you especially the Carburetor linkages.

I finally have my Photobucket account working now so can start posting decent sized photos! ;D
The engine is now attached to its mount. I will now finish off the other nacelle details before moving onto the wings.

last update for today The carpet monster has eaten the fuel cap and the flare tube so I've written an Email to wingnuts asking for some replacement parts. I'll leave the windscreen and guns off until the wings are fitted and rigged aside from that the Nacelle is finished!

Stunning work Sean, this really is a great kit isn't it?  I originally wasn't going to do this as pushers don't tend to appeal to me, but this was a gift and I have changed my mind.  Especially when I have work such as yours to follow.

Can you scratch replacements for the lost parts?  I can photograph the sprues if you like, I haven't cut them off yet.

I just can't wait for my Fee kit to arrive, seeing all the great work on the forum.

Cheers

Pete Thanks very much for your kind words and glad my work as well as the others is inspiring you to build yours when it arrives, can never have enough Fees ;)
Ian Its is a great kit isn't it! When I was building the Gotha I was having a blast but I'm really into this build. Its much more time consuming to build but I'm really enjoying the Journey along the way, although I have my other modeling commission work that I have to get on with.  Thanks for your offer to photograph the parts but I got down on my hands and knees today with a torch and found both the parts  ;D I've since added them to the model.

Cheers

I lose bits on the kitchen floor and there's no carpet in there.  :(

I build in the basement but somehow the attic carpet monster consumes parts...but then spits them out 3 months later when they are of absolutely no use......

My carpet monster recently spawned an evil partner. I build on the main floor and have a furnace vent in the room; in the last month or so it's gobbled up 2 Lewis Drum magazines, an Albatros wheel, and several fuel tank caps despite being covered, All but the wheel are now somewhere in the heating system downstairs! What are the odds?? (The wheel was found "on the edge" of the vent coupling and saved.)
