Hello from Tennessee
« on: September 16, 2014, 10:18:02 AM »
I am starting to build these models again after a nearly 40 year layoff. That's right, 40 years!  A lot has changed since then and am glad I found this website .  I am impressed with the talent here and hope I can reenter this hobby  despite  a possible long learning curve.   Jim

Don't worry, you're far from being the only one to return after a long break!

Jim,
40 years becomes just a number when viewed in the big picture of "Jim's back"! Welcome back and I hope you enjoy the hobby as much as before. It's a wonderful time for WWI Aviation Modelling, and your timing is excellent!
Cheers,
Lance

Welcome to this wonderful forum Jim; it's such a source of inspiration. There's morel than a few of us here who seem to have returned to modelling following long breaks.

Best wishes
Nigel

What part of Tenn. you from? I'm in the process of moving to east Tn., specifically Cosby, just east of Gatlinburg.
