Thanks again folks. I'm a bit behind my projected schedule to complete this, but perhaps by the end of this coming weekend it'll be in the RFI section, or at least I hope so.

  Kevin,
A little behind or not she's still an excellent project my old friend. Although I don't build much in 1/48 myself I've learned much about the quirks of building a Roden Fokker from you. Thanks for all the outstanding heads ups,so if I do build one of these kits I'll know what to watch out for. After this Fokker is complete is there any possibility of bringing back your wonderful 1/28 scale project from LSP and the Aerodrome ?
Highest Regards,

I don't know Greg, I made several errors that I later discovered. Nothing that couldn't be easily undone, but I was also having really bad problems with the lozenge (purchased from Doug), on that one. At least I finally figured out that the rib tapes can be ordered directly from Microscale. They may not be exact width needed, but at least they have a good color selection. We'll have to wait and see on that one I guess. I wouldn't rule it out as a possibility.

OK, once again, I had mislaid the prop for the last week or so. Found it tonight and continued with faking in some wood grain.

Remainder of lozenge has been added to wing area between fuselage haves, and is ready for clear coating.

It's a problem I've been having for quite a while now Greg,... I'm forever misplacing things. For instance, I've lost the entire OOB decal sheet that has all the stencils for this machine, so I'm moving on without them. Working on ten or fifteen projects at the same time seems to be the root cause, and is something I'm going to have to resolve.

(For whatever it's worth, when Charles Metz passed away, I was approached with an offer to move into a moderator position on LSP, so I'm now officially LSP_Typhoonattack over there.)

The fun continues, this time with the tiny Master Spandau gun assemblies.

One of the last items on my list, decal wise, is the cross on the tail,... decal is too short in two directions, so I had to add little bits at the upper and aft ends.

The scary part,... plane (after applying a fairly heavy acrylic clear coat), receives a soft over-spray of dark gray. This will be wiped down with a damp brush to give some "character" to the model, (I hope).

And she was looking all pretty and shiny ;D

Will be interesting to see the effect after the 'wipe down'.

This has (and still is) a great WIP - thanks FB.
