Thanks a bunch fellas, it's certainly trying my patience, that's for sure. Fuselage is essentially finished at this point, so work continues on the bits and pieces.

An eye catching colour scheme. She'll look good when you have her finished.

Cheers,

Chris

Kevin,
I looked back through your Thread and couldn't determine what brand of Lozenge you are using; what make is it and is it available in 1/32? (or Kit supplied?)
Cheers,
Lance

It's Techmod lozenge, but I don't think it's available in 1:32. Even if it was available, I would not recommend it, though others may disagree.

To enable lower wing to be attached (Roden wing is too narrow to fit between fuselage halves), wing was cut in half (after grinding a slot across the width of it), and the slot filled in with CA and a small brass rod.

Elevator has now been painted to match horizontal stab. The decals falling off continues to plague me. In this photo, several rib tape sections seemed to have stuck better to my fingers better than to the model.

Rib tapes replaced/repaired on starboard lower wing, upper wing positioned to get a feel for the overall visual impact of the scheme.

Kevin,
It's not just Techmod that sticks better to your fingers then the model; I'm playing the same "game" with my WNW Lozenge and tapes although I believe it's complete now that it's oversprayed. The tapes were particularly frustrating, just part of the process I suspect! ::)
Hang in there, she's really looking good.
Cheers,
Lance

She looks great. As tedious as this sounds by any chance would a quick overcoat after each section of decals has dried avoid the lifting?

I really like this colourful scheme. I'm getting to be a big fan of lozenge.

Thanks so much for the comments folks. Yes, clear coating the decals should make a big difference, (I hope).

She's going to look even more excellent than she already does Kevin. ;)

Great progress.
