Truly extraordinary work, Henning! Especially that painted Bavarian lozenge! A pair of absolutely stunning models.
Cheers,

Two extraordinary models Henning, the masking you cut out is absolutely amazing and the resulting paint job is superb, well done.

Henning,
Superb work on both your DV's - you must have the patience of a saint to individually cut and apply the diamond masking - very skillwork work, actually.

Both beautifully done for any Scale but in 1:72?!? The Masking, as already stated, is incredible on the Bavarian subject. Congratulations and compliments on completing a very impressive pair of Models!
Cheers,

It is in fact simple but time consuming.
first masked the whole plane as here.
then every place where there are 2 layer of masking tape is cut free and removed.
There are a few more pictures here but it is in Danish.

Very impressive pair!
But wouldn't it have been so much easier to use the decals....
I wouldn't even dream of trying to do all that masking - give me the easy option every time!
