Hi everyone finally, back on my feet...   anyway decided to change the build to the Roland D.VIb 7504/18

So far the build has gone ok, however I did have to remove the paint from the fuselage, on the first attempt, as I did not lay-down an undercoat, and the paints did not look vibrant,

and finally the lozenge, need I say more......

any advise please, on what you see so far , also can someone answer the following question please, Gas patch products, what is the better scale, I have 1/32 but I have been told that 1/48 scale sits better and last of all

Have a merry Christmas and a Happy new Year, where ever you may be.....Dave

I missed your earlier reports. It seems we are quite a party here building D.VIs! Yours is progressing very nicely. Fine colourful scheme!
I am sorry, I cannot help you with Gaspatch turnbuckles, up till now I have been using Bob's buckles.
And Merry Christmas, too!

It looks though you are progressing well! Your lozenge application looks great and the scheme is very colorful! I also am of no help with the buckles but I am sure someone will chime in with the answer soon.

I built mine using the 1:32 turnbuckles and it looks juvt fine. If you have1:32 buckles, I don't see a reason not to use them!
Bellow I'm posting few pictureV that may or may not help you decide.

Excellent progress on your build Dave, the colours are very eye catching.

GasPatch turnbuckles are an excellent product but can be expensive if you need a lot of them, Bob's Buckles cut tubes and eyelets are a good altenative and easy to assemble, or like me, you could make your own.

Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas.
