Thanks, Des, for the news. It is a real masterpiece. But...

... Thumbs up - I have just seen it.  ;) Yet, honestly speaking, I have enough of Mercedes D.III engines. In 72nd scale I have two Pfalz D.III, one Pfalz D.XII, one Roland D.VI, five German Albatros, one Halberstadt Cl.IV and one Fokker D.VII. Surely, what Roden, Eduard or Ardpol offer in their kits has little to do with Small Stuff marvels but for me it is enough of them. Actually the Albatros D.II I have finished recently will be the last one for a long, long time.
In 32nd scale I have Pfalz D.IIIa, Pfalz D.XII and Albatros D.V with quite detailed engines. I still have aRoland D.VIa in the stash but then it will also be enough of them. This was one of the reasons I did not buy the WNW Roland C.II.  ;)

Ha yes, sometimes I think building Merc DIIIa engines is like applying rib tapes. Enough already!

Yeh ok but just look at this!

Beautiful little lumps of loveliness.
Such crisply defined globs of resin have me wanting to take up 1/72 scale just to try them.

Yummy  :)

We have Small Stuff covering 1/72 and Taurus concentrating on 1/32 but we need more in 1/48 scale!  Besides the expensive Vector resin one I do not know of anyone that does a nicely detailed and correct sized Mercedes D.IIIau in 1/48 scale.
