Just found this site that supply a range of 1/144 scale models. It covers quite a few aircraft including a Zeppelin Stakken. There are even seated pilots and observers/gunners and a Bessonneau hanger.http://www.shapeways.com/miniatures/scale-models?li=nav

Thanks for the link to the site, Dave. It's fascinating to see the range, notwithstanding the limitations imposed on things like strut size. If someone had said to me that you could buy a Maurice Farman MF. 11 Shorthorn in 1/144 scale, including a crew with the observer equipped with a Colt machine gun, I'd suspect I was being taken for a ride.....

Best wishes
Nigel

Yes,I'm tempted to buy one of the bombers, the thing that's holding me back though is the thought of lozenge and rigging in that scale!

Hi guys,I can only recommend you to avoid buying those .They might look nice on the website, but what you get is a heap of deformed nylonlike plastic, featuring a rough texturthat is impossible to work with, unless you cover the whole thing with liquid putty and sand your ass off on the way too thick trailing edges and struts. I ordered the deluxe version which is pretty expensive ,honestly ,that stuff is CRAP !!
If you want realistic 1/144 model kits,go for SRAM.Not for the faint hearted especially when it comes to the rigging, but worth the effort!

Have a look here, it is a review of the Valom 1:144 Sopwith Pup, not a bad little kit.

How did I miss Des's build of the 1/144 Pup before? Human hair rudder cables! Brilliant!!!
