Good luck, Squiffy. I've had this one on my radar for literally decades. A real challenge for sure, and I hope all works out well for you with this build!  8)
Cheers!

Ah, yes. This project has stalled but only yesterday did I think about it. I'll pick it up soon though.

I've decided to go back to plan A and make decals, instead of painting the lines. I can't get the width of the lines consistent by masking and painting, which is the main reason why it stalled.

Progress...

I finished drawing the decals on the computer and here they are printed. The next thing is to give them a coat of clear acrylic varnish and some time to dry.

Looks great Squiffy!  Now, can you just scale 'em up to 1/32? ;). Nice work.

Bob

Thanks, chaps. I suppose they're alright but I doubt they're good enough for 32nd.

The fuselage is painted and the newly-decalled tail fitted. I'm putting the decals on the inner surfaces of the wings before the struts and the outers will go on after assembly and rigging.

The missing part, around the hole in the upper wing, will have to be filled in by painting.

Looks great Squiffy!  Excellent work on creating the very distinctive markings. ;D  This will be one sweet Camel.
