Hello all,
 Well, I'm back in the saddle! The Fok DVIIF has been put away for another day and out comes the PUP!

This will be a discombobulated build thread. So don't expect too much from it  ;)

Here we go!!!

1st question: Do the nubs on the firewall face outward? The instructions show a flush firewall.

Herr VonPuppy, It's good to see your new project :D. About the nubs,
I believe they are supposed to face out...I know there was a corresponding
notch at the inside top of the cowling on mine.  I will happily be following your
build...knowing your work, it will be marvelous.

Ernie is correct Bob, as with his Pup kit mine also had a corresponding notch inside the cowling, looking forward to watching the progress of this build.

I was thinking of starting my Pup next but due to wanting to watch your build I have changed my mind to something else  8)
I have the RFC version but I am sure I will get lots of great ideas from your build!

I'll be following this as, thanks to being influenced by you large scale chaps, I've bought one of these, albeit the RNAS version. It'll be the first time I've built anything larger than 72nd scale! I'll be especially interested when you get to rigging it as I haven't a clue...  :P

The WNW RFC Pup was the first aircraft I rigged - took me ages as I didn't really know what I was doing.  However looking back, I would now find this relatively straight forward.  The Pup is not a bad model to start rigging with though - plenty of manouevring space between the wings etc.

My comment on rigging was aimed at Squiffy's post, but I guess you knew that anyway ;)

Looking forward to your build, should be a great job.  Don't forget the cockpit frame/floor/lower wing fit is very tight.

I have tickled these parts with my rasper file - they should fit A-OK after a light dusting with the old airbrush.... I hope!
