Hi from me in Germany, actually I am from New Zealand but have been living most of the last couple of decades here.
Actually I am not sure if this is the right site for me or not. I am a modeller but not in the traditional way as most of you here. I am more into 3D modelling on the computer. When I was a lad, many moons ago, I did build model planes, ships and trains. 3D modelling is much cleaner and my brain doesn't get so affected by the fumes of the glue like it used to

I have recently decided to begin a project modelling a Fokker DR I and have been searching for a forum of intelligent minds and experts in their fields, and stumbled across this place. I lurked around here for a week or so, reading and getting to know some of you from behind the scenes, and am rather impressed by the friendliness and openess of you all. No trolls or troublemakers here at all! My kind of forum definitely. Being a non-forumy kind of person myself, and not particularly talkative or conversational, I have decided to join up with you all anyway to tap your knowledge and perhaps share my WIPs with you to fish for constructive critique, or just to show off

If I am in the wrong place then please let me know, and if not, and you wouldn't mind accepting a non-traditional modeller into your midst, then I promise I will behave

That's it ......

PS: Sorry about the footy yesterday Portugal, no hard feelings
