Pfalz D.IIIa, Eduard, 1:48 - Jasta 5
« on: June 04, 2014, 05:20:53 PM »
Hello,

So here we have Königliche Preußische Jagdstaffel’s 5. Pfalz D.IIIa. The only picture of this beautiful machine one can find in Albatros Publications vol. II, but her picture can not be any source of possible look as its quality is much to be desired. Nevertheless Eduards interpretation is very interesting so that is why I found it very attractive.

regards
K

She's truly gorgeous, K!  I really like your rendering of the silber-grau wings.  The shading and weathering add a lot of interest.  The scheme really is quite alluring and I'm tempted to do this one, myself.
Cheers,
Bud
