I think it's going that way!

Here's one I've had under construction for several weeks, on and off, but have now completed. It's the Eastern Express kit of an Aviatik (Berg) D.1. The struts are very thin and fiddly and there didn't appear to be any positive location of the lower planes into the fuselage, so I had to estimate their position, drill the fuselage and pin and glue them.
The kit wheels were awful! Too fat and with overly large moulded spokes, so I replaced them with a pair from a Fokker D.VII. Maybe not to the purist's taste but it looks better for them, IMHO.
The colour scheme and lettering is that of Oblt. Frank Linke-Crawford.
