Pardon my ignorance here Ron, but what is a polishing sponge? Any chance of posting an image of one so I know what to look for?

Thanks guys for the encouragement. Having a tough time with my back and eyes and getting frustrated. The encouragement helps mitigate the frustration.
Brought the wing to work (shhhhhh dont tell) and redid it. It looks better but I still have some issues with it. I can live with what I have right now and will continue. Maybe I cann get the cabanes and top wing mopunted this week. Then its not much further and its done. More to follow.

You can use the blue/white one and the 220 blue one needs to be used though if using the 220 take the edge off on a stone wall the use it on the wing.

Note dont move back and fourt with the sponge but only one way pushing the decal down on the wing never go up the the decal wil come loose

If i have time ill post some pics tomoro it works for me Did my Gotha Gv nightbomer this way.

The one Bo posted to hard and coars i think.

Ps you can practise sticking tamiya tape on an old scrap wing right on the edge

Top wing done as best I can. Decals on the struts (should have done the tail braces and landing gear before I glued them on). If I'm feeling better tomorrow I hope I can get the top wing on and get to weathering. I did do some initial oil stains, but need more work.

It's really coming along nicely James, especially if you're battling a bad back through it all, not to mention your eyes. I know how crippling a back condition can be.

By the way, what's that AFV hull I see in the background. I can't quite make it out.

Hi Chris. Yeah back and neck issues suck. The hull behind is the Meng BMPT Terminator. I'm doing modern Russian stuff on the side for work. Sort of a recce thing. T-80 is next. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMPT
