On a whim I  entered the IPMS regional here in town. I took 3rd in game figure, and 1st in fanasy figure. Pictures to follow...

Many congratulations on a well deserved win. I do not enter competitions because I do not think that my models are worth showing - I admire those of you who do.

LM, I have seen the quality of your work. At this local show, you could have easily taken first in aircraft, oob all scales. I felt the same way you do, and I had to seriously talk myself into submitting the 3 models I did. I still cannot believe that I made the podium with 2 of them. One good thing, a youngster asked me about some of the techniques I used, especially for the lenses and eyes. I was able to show him the easy technique. I also was.able to learn a lot from some of the other models on display. Just try it once, see what happens. You may be surprised.

Your work is outstanding, that's why you won.  I have a freind that does mini's like that and it amazes me what he can do, I am amazed by what you are doing with those figures.  Congratulations and well done.
What show was it by the way?
