Great work on the stonework mate, the fence is so nicely weathered - it almost looks like a real deal, the best part of your installation though are those pots with plants - flowers are soooo realistic. Great job mate! I can only dream to see you building a garden shed ;) ;)
PS. Great looking D.VII - i really like this scheme. I think the Aviattic lozenges look great! The only thing I would add to your model is some more weathering around the engine area.
Congratulations - she`s an eyecatcher!
Best regards
Filip

Your Fokker looks realy cool. Great work. The Aviattic decals look very good. I think i will order a set of them if they are available in 1/72.
A model thrives on its overall impression and not on that every little disagreement over the original is hyped up as a disaster

I agree.

They are. The lower wing lozenges look a bit "flashy" IMO, but the upperside ones look good.
The polish company Mirage has also released lozenge sheets. At the moment, only at 1/48 scale, but the colors look rather well-balanced.

Great build but to my eyes it looks like you might still be missing a bit of rigging between the cabane struts (from fuselage to upper wing).
I shall never forget my admiration for that German pilot, who single handed, fought seven of us for ten minutes. I saw him go into a fairly steep dive and so I continued to watch, and then saw the triplane hit the ground and disappear into a thousand fragments...James McCudden

Very nice job, Dave.  I will be happy if the D.VII F on my bench comes out as nicely as yours!

I think the tubs look *ok*, but the stone work is nice. You really need to consider watering the grass under that airplane tho'.

(Seriously, beautiful job. I'd like to know, so I don't do it, what happened when spraying Future over the decals.)

The future needs misting on lightly. It's aqueous whereas the decals have a slightly waxy Matt finish, so if you go on heavy it forms droplets rather than a smooth finish. Fine if it's misted and fine with the alclad klear gloss too.

Thanks, I've had friends who've had it bead up before, didn't know that's what you were describing.
