1/32 Albatros from WNW
« on: May 05, 2014, 07:29:58 PM »
Hi All

Please find some pictures about my 1/32 Albatros D.V "RUDY" Rudolf Windisch. 1055/17, Jasta 32b september-november 1917, 22 victory.

The headrests was made in scratch because no part was in the kit to do this marking.

Hope you like it.  :)

Marc

PS: I don't find how to put larger photos.... :-[

Beautiful Alby Marc!  The finish  and diorama setting are superb. ;D  Your engine colors and detail appear very realistic.  Very fine work indeed!

Cheers,

Bob

Beautiful work on the Albatros Marc, the painting and decal application is superb, and your figures are also very well done, great little dio.

The forum limits the photo size to 600 x 600, but once the photo is posted and is clicked on it will enlarge to full size, in your case 1024.

Strikingly beautiful Model Marc, and the setting really shows it off well. I really like the weathering, and the rag hanging off the engine cowling is brilliant!
Very nicely done all round; you can be very proud of this work!
Cheers,
Lance

She's absolutely stunning, Marc!  What an introduction!  That engine is very realistic, your weathering is sublime, figures beautifully painted and even the base with it's poppies is perfect.  Brilliant work all around.
Cheers,
Bud

Hello Marc:

This is very nice.  IT is a simple scheme but yet very striking.  Like the others have mentioned, well placed in the diorama and all the little touches look spot on.

Best

That is a wonderful piece of modelling and the paint finish and base are simply first class (or better). Very many congratulations on an excellent model.

Great model and wonderful painting. Especially on the engine. I love the weathering and details too. Do you show your models in meetings in France? Would be glad to see them.

What a fabulous model! Fine scheme, detailing, weathering. everything looks perfect. I would very much like to see more close-ups to the finished model - the engine, the cockpit certainly deserve to be presented  ;) And could you tell us, how did you do the nail heads?
