Cheers Steve

That joy along with a few others, rigging etc., has still to come.
Attempting the laminations on the 4 bladed prop at the
moment. It would try the patience of a Saint    :)

Best Regards

Dave

Yeah Right! I don't mind that bit. All you need is patience.
Attached is the prop, which took a couple of attempts to
get right, and so it goes onto the 'besatie' tonight.

Cheers Lads

Beautiful work on the propeller Dave, and the rest of the model is looking spectacular, your attention to detail is incredible. With what you have done so far the rigging will be a breeze for you, looking forward to seeing more updates.

Magnificent work on the prop Dave. The more I see of this sort of work the more I wonder why I hand carve the little devils. I usually paint the Brit ones as the laminations are much more subtle, however they don't come off nearly as great as this one...beautiful job!
I am really enjoying following your build, you've got a real gem coming along here.
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks a lot guys. As my wife says, 'Enjoy your passion'.
Sometimes I think I go too far, but as long as people
who see it get pleasure from it, then it is all worth while.

Beautiful work Dave,

The time you have spent adding the extra details has been well worth the effort.
The Prop is stunning.

Best regards

Keith

Great Prop! Worth any effort you put into the painting of the laminations!

This is going to be a truly spectacular bird Dave - I think I can safely state on the behalf of all here that you're definitely not going 'too far' at all. Be glad your wife has the attitude she has!! 8)
