How oddly coincidental!!!! .................. within this last hour I've just pre-ordered one of these!

As a side bar story I seem to be going through this phase where I'm building all those subjects that I did as a kid - and I mean a "young kid" - you know? - those where you stood for what seemed like hours staring into the shop window - your two bob bit clutched tightly in your hand.
And the Typhoon has always held a huge fascination for me - I just stare at that huge intake under the prop' ... it's a brute of an aircraft. Don't know if I'll ever build it? - But I want it!!!

This kitset looks... well is amazing, it puts Airfix back at the top of the pack especially if price etc is  as rumoured.

The idea of stressed skin airframes should have been picked up by other manufacturers years ago.

I will be getting one, Space and common sense are thrown to the wind. Imagine what the after market guys can do with the options for this.

I pre-ordered mine via Hattons - £80 plus a few bob shipping. That's 20% straight away, they might perhaps dip below this price eventually by a few coppers - but I didn't want to risk missing it like the Mossie' ............. try getting one of those for less than a couple of hundred quid now!!

Steve is a good friend of mine.
Happy to say the old boy kept me well informed about his Tiffie build, but my lips had to remain sealed.
I'm glad he has 'come out' with the Tiff for all the world to see.
BTW: The old fella did a splendid job on the 24th scale beast - well done my old fruit!
