Sopwith Camel F1- Academy-1/32
« on: April 25, 2014, 10:01:37 AM »
Hello,
Im a older newbie, and after 30 years i'm back.... :D This is my first ww1 aircraft and i hope, the first of many. Im trying to do many scratch parts for add some details in this kit.

I started with the cockpit chair. I made one new, and after 3 attempts a think is ok for me.

Next step was the panel. Here is the original .

And after looking the references here is the result i got.

Thanks all!

You have made an excellent start to the Academy Camel Hary, the seat and the instrument panel are a vast improvement over the original items, I did the same to my build.

Des.

Here is a link to my build, you might be able to pick up a few ideas which might help with your build.

Outstanding work on the seat and instrument panel.  I'm going to enjoy watching your Camel come together.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks RAGIII and Mark K!
I choose use the No 43 Squadron, RAF, mid-1918 version, that came with the kit.
