It's a bit sick to be kicking your opponents severed head around though? At least put it in a bag....

;D ;D ;D  Reminds me of the "polo" scene from "The Man Who Would be King" with Michael Caine, Sean Connery and Christopher Plummer. ;)

Cheers,

After seeing many photos of the pilots and ground crew, it is obvious that all were young, some VERY young and there are few moustaches on anyone. Why are most of the WWI air figures on offer those of older, moustached men? Doesn't work for me.

Because THAT's the image of the "Knights of the Air" that we learned from countless comic-strips and films like "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines or How I Flew from London to Paris in 25 Hours 11 Minutes".
I don't like it either...

These two are sculpted by Doug Craner:

It would seem our Doug is a man of many talents.
Excellent figures. I like the leaning one the best and will be buying it in the near future  ;)

I echo Bob's comments.

The leaning figure I recognised straight away...he is the chap in the photograph ( Lt Malchow) on the inside cover of Ray Rimell's book - The German Army Air Service in WW1.

Notice too that the seated Fok DVII pilot is also provided with a seperate flying helmet if you choose to use the alternative head.

Fantastic work and an opportunity to recreate a miniature moment in history.

James,

the
Quote
German Pilot Eindecker  LSK04B £15.00
is nowhere to be found on MDC's homepage (this means: I am too dumb to find that one). Can you please provide me with a direct ling for ordering?

Kindest regards,
Stefan
