Wingnut Wings Gotha G.IV
« on: March 28, 2014, 07:55:25 AM »
Here are some shots of my WnW Gotha G.IV. Other than the rigging, built OOB. I believe that this is the best engineered WnW kit I have built so far. Despite its size (almost 30 inch wingspan) it goes together like a dream.

Happy modeling!  Jim

Absolutely beautiful Jim, I love the colour scheme you used, it really makes this model stand out. You attention to detail is excellent and the rigging is superb. I have this model in my stash and seeing yours has rekindled the desire to get mine built, well done on an immaculate build.

She's truly stunning, Jim!  Your wing shading, props, rigging are all flawless.
Cheers,

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful! I have this in the stash, and have never built a World War I aircraft before, but this makes me want to build it sooner now. Beautiful work.

Beautiful. ;D
I made this model in 1:72 scale. This 1:32 scale model has to me unimaginable dimensions.  ;)

I have actually had the pleasure of seeing this model.  It is amazing and the pictures don't do it justice.  The streaking on the wings, the rigging, the craftsmanship is truly amazing.
Thanks Jim for posting these pictures.

Best
