Glad to have found this site, been modeling WW1 aircraft since the late 1950's (Aurora, Airfix and Revell).  Still have my Harleyford books from the 1960's and all the WW1 Profiles.  Still building 1/48 and hopefully will have more time as I just retired a few weeks ago.  Just ordered the AZ Models Gotha GV and am researching finishes for the model.  Other hobbies are model railroading and maintaining a Triumph TR6.

Favorite aircraft of the period are the early ones from 1914 thru 1916 but to be truthful I have lots of late war models in the 'to do' pile as well.

Welcome aboard, Charlie!  Great to see another listee make it over.  I've admired your work for quite a while and I look forward to seeing that Gotha posted here.
Cheers,

 Hey Charlie,
I am just south of you a few hundred miles. Had a great time at the IPMS Nationals last August.

Welcome aboard Charlie. hope retirement works for you; I have retired 5 times, and recently started back with a 3-4 day a month "Jobette". Resist the urge, my friend, I actually resent even the few days I can't devote to the hobby!
Cheers,
Lance :)

I retired from the railroad (after 38 years) and there's no thoughts (even remote) of going back to work.  I am looking forward to going through the basement stashes and building kits.  I need to start with some simple subjects (late war Fokkers as example) to get my skills honed again.
