She's truly lovely, Aviatik!  I love these early kites.  Like the others, I'd like to know about your construction techniques and materials, as well.  The pitch control looks interesting.

Bud

Very  nice Aviatik. It seems amazing to think that anybody would trust their life to an aircraft like this.

Best wishes

Thank you for showing your build techniques, very fine craftsmanship in a small scale. I love these early aircraft and you have done a superb job in recreating this aeroplane, well done.

Excellent modelling of another type that I had not heard of! Your wood finish and the see-through fabric are particularly noteworthy - very many congratulations on a superb model.

:)  I am very glad that you like it. Thanks again for the compliments and comments. This is one of my favorit projects and I am very happy that I was able to bring it to the end. Informations about this aircraft are very few or almost nothing, except for one photo and a few details. Except Rusjan are known on Slovenian soil, two pioneers of flight Jože Zablatnik (Joseph Sablatnig) and Stanko Bloudek. I plan to do at least one aircraft of each of them.
