Now is the painting and undercarriage on the way.
I use for the light blue-grey RLM 76. It comes near the colour scheme.

Hello Martin. I've watched this build with interest, but in a sense from afar. I can only admire your supreme modelling skills so far in producing something so good from such unpromising material. Bravo!

Best wishes
Nigel

Hello Martin,

It's really becoming an areoplane now. You did a great build of a strange bird!

Kind regards
Patrick

My first attemps for new rigging and painting the black border. I use now o,o8mm fishing line and painting it steel colour.
The black border needs some paint correction. To bound the fishing line use many more time than use EZ line.

That looks cracking now Martin, great work.  But I must add what an ugly aircraft! ;D
Bessie Braddock: Sir, you are drunk.
Churchill: Madam, you are ugly. In the morning, I shall be sober!

Nancy Astor: Sir, if you were my husband, I would give you poison.
Churchill: If I were your husband I would take it.

Hi Martin,
I read a good tip for doing black outlines on wings and tails such as the early Pfalz E types that might work for this one.  Use a wide tip Sharpie permanent black marker and hold the flat tip at a 45 degree angle to the wing, and drag it around the edge.  if you are careful and keep it at the proper angle it will make the same width stripe along the entire wing and requires no masking.  Only clear coat it with acrylic if you use lacquer the ink will bleed all over the light blue and ruin it!  Would be worth practicing on a scrap wing or piece of sheet plastic to see if it works for you.

Looking good Martin. The outline looks a little tricky. I hope the suggestion of using a Sharpie type pen works, or you find your own way to succeed!

Now is rigging ready.
Next work will be glue the wire to the rudder, the tube for the wing tanks, some paintings for plane and propeller and the decels.
