Hi Bob,

Looking forward to this new build. I'm sure this will be another stunning model. We will all be watching in the front row.

Kind regards
Patrick

Hello all,
Not much of an update, but wanted to let you know that I'm working on cutting masks for the 4 colour lozenge. I intend to spray the pattern on... Yes, I know... you think I've lost the plot, but wait and see. I have a plan! A plan, if executed well, will be a one off and no mistake!

Cheers,
Bob Von Loz   :D

Nice!  Looks like it just might work, mate.  I look forward to seeing the results.

Hello Bob:

This will be interesting to follow along.  Your masks couldn't be any worse than the old Aurora Tracing on carbon paper lozenge templates.
Looking forward to seeing how this turns out.  Do I smell a new product from the BVB?

Best

Mark

BOB,
The Masks look very interesting! someone once did 1/48th masks I think but they weren't generally available or maybe I just missed them. A great idea if one wants to mix their own colors and spray.

Hi Mark,
I have no intention of bringing these masks to market. If they work out OK for me, I would do one off requests, but nothing more than that.
Not when we already have Aviattic doing their lovely loz  ;)

Cheers,
BvB

The lozenge masks are very cool - maybe would be a good solution for the WNW Hannover fuselage and wing center section?

That's a possibility, but I would need the reference material to pull it off.  ;)

I made these 4 colour lozenge masks for this Fok.DVII.
When it comes to lining everything up It will be a case of 'slap it on and hope for the best' ... just how I like it!

Cheers,
BVB   ;)

It's not meant to be a perfect fit.   ???
I've allowed for plenty of wiggle and overlap  ;)

Ah! Duh. Of course, makes perfect sense. I was fooled by the aileron cutouts etc to thinking it was a tailor fit.

A great concept you are working on Bob, I hope it all works out well for you and I look forward to seeing the first lot of paint applied.
